How to Make Oatmeal Drop Cookies | RECIPE | No Butter | Dairy Free
Let's make Oatmeal Drop Cookies. This recipe uses applesauce in replacement with butter. The applesauce prevents the cookie from drying out. This creates a nice moist and delectable cookie. Great for backpacking trips or as treat on a low calorie diet.
A little more than 1/4 cup Rolled Oats
A tad less than 1 cup Flour (can use gluten free flour mix)
1/2 teaspoon Baking Powder
3/4 cup Applesauce
1/4 cup Turbinado sugar (can use brown sugar)
Dash of Salt
Nutmeg and Cinnamon (Optional)
Preheat oven to 375 Degrees.
Mix ingredients together. Form into golf balls and drop onto cookie tray. Slightly flatten cookies.
Bake Cookies at approximately 10 minutes. Should be firm, yet chewy. And slightly golden but be careful not to burn. Serve!
